1. Turn on the device
The first time you switch on the device, it needs to boot the software. To do this:
Ensure the device is connected to a power source.
Locate the power button on the front of the device and press it once.
As the device boots up, the screen and indicator lights will light up.
Once the device has finished booting, it will automatically load the NodesNow application and display the installer page. This signals that the installer must start the connection steps. The installer page will feature core information along with the NodesNow logo.
2. Establish a Wi-Fi connection
1. Generate a Wi-Fi QR code

Navigate to Settings > Connections or Network and Internet > Wi-Fi.
Click the settings icon adjacent to the network you want to connect to.
Select QR code or Share to produce a QR code. You'll use it to connect the touchscreen to the network in step two, Connect using the QR Code, below.
Note: On certain versions of Android, you might need to verify your identity.

Before starting, ensure you have the Shortcuts app from the App Store.
Launch the Shortcuts app.
Tap Gallery in the bottom menu.
Navigate to Shortcuts for Accessibility > Access Tools > See all.
Select QR Your Wi-Fi and tap Add Shortcut.
Tap Shortcuts in the bottom menu and then My Shortcuts to see your shortcuts.
Tap the triple-dot icon on QR Your Wi-Fi to edit it.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and add the Quick Look action.
Tap the play icon to run the QR Your Wi-Fi shortcut.
Enter the Wi-Fi name and password when prompted.
Your QR code will be displayed. Use it in step two, Connect using the QR Code, to connect the touchscreen to the Wi-Fi network.
2. Connect to Wi-Fi using the QR Code
On the installer page, tap the NodesNow logo (top-left) five times to access the support menu.
Present the QR code you generated in step one to the touchscreen's camera.
Following the successful scan of the QR code, the touchscreen will link to the Wi-Fi network and go to the dashboard.
Note: Some networks may also require you to provide additional information or accept terms and conditions. In this case, follow the on-screen directions to finish logging in.
